Unit 4 Story 3: Bruno the Baker (skill-realism and fantasy; strategy-visualizing)

Spelling: large, ready says, today, wash (HF) bread, breath, eraser, helper, spread, sweat, thread, weather , bowl, batter, kitchen- words to know for test and not for your spelling test

Vocabulary: batter, bowl, contents, directions, ingredients, kitchen, present, recipe

Social Studies: Intro to Ancient China

Math- Subtraction with regrouping and calendar skills, quiz on

Homework

Monday:  President’s Day- no school

Tuesday:  read 20 mins and sign reading log, math sheet, and study notes of Ancient China, write words two times each

Wednesday:  Read for 20 minutes., study In notes in social studies notebook, math sheet, math test on subtraction with regrouping on Thursday

Thursday:  Read for 20 minutes, study for your spelling test , reread Bruno the Baker,  regrouping test Thursday

Friday: Test on Bruno the Baker, , spelling test, quiz on calendar

Friday: Read a great book

Please check your child’s agenda each night and initial or sign by the color he/she earns for the day. Also, be sure to look through the red folder on Mondays

AR goals are set and students need to take tests on a daily basis to meet their goals. Thanks
