Reading: SOLS – 2.8h Read and reread familiar texts with fluency, accuracy, and meaningful expression

2.11i Use commas in in a friendly letter

We will be learning what is a noun?  what is a verb? 

We will continue to work on writing complete sentences

Math: 2.2:  Skip Counting- The student will/count forward by twos, fives, and tens to 120, starting at various multiples of 2, 5, 10; b) count backward by tens 120 chart test will be Monday due to the county fair this past Friday. 

Math:2.1 The student will a) read, write, and identify the place and value of each digit in a three-digit numeral, with and without model

Items wanted still: recess balls!- If you can, please let me know that you can help out and send them in by Sept 20^th. Again, thanks. 

Upcoming events:

Sept. 2oth – Summer T-shirt Day / Let’s celebrate the end of summer by wearing shirts from vacations, family reunions, Busch Gardens, VBS, summer camp, etc. Hawaiian shirts will work, too!

Oct. 2 – School pictures for pre-K, K, & 1^st grade

Oct. 3 – School pictures for ECSE/MiMD, 2^nd grade, & 3^rd grade

Oct. 14 – No school: Student-led goal-setting conferences with parents and teachers
