Reading- Reader’s Theatre and practicing for our awards ceremony

Math: 4^th nine weeks review- jeopardy review of skills, multiplication

Writing-  finishing up writings for jobs unit; Memory Books

Important Dates:

June 14- Field Day

June 15 & 16- 2:20 Dismissal

June 16- LAST DAY OF 2^nd GRADE- We will have an awards presentation and  a small snack around 9:15( donuts and jusice) and 9:30- awards

Students may leave after the ceremony

Wednesday, June 14^th – Field Day- no resource

Thursday, June 15^th- red- stem

Friday, June 16^th- No resource due to 3^rd grade ceremony

Please check your child’s agenda each night and initial or sign by the color he/she earns for the day. Check red folders daily for any updates from the school or work completed

Last week of School

Monday- Parents are sharing their careers with the class; memory book; multiplication

Tuesday- 9:15 we will have a presentation from the Isle of Wight Sheriff Department; Lego Day/Pokemon cards; memory book

Wednesday- movie in the morning and field day in the afternoon 1:00pm-3:00pm and we will eat lunch in the classroom around 11:00

Thursday- Board Game Day; 2:20 dismissal

Friday- 9:15- donuts and juice and awards at 9:30; your child may go home after the program, if you would like; 2:20 dismissal

Summer break starts at 2:20
