Week of October 26th


Homework  10/26/15- 10/30/15
High Frequency Words: because, carry, don’t, goes, whole, spelling words: bright, sight, line, side, sky, try, hidden, mirror, skull, thumb- They need to know how to read them but not spell them
SKILLS: determining importance proper nouns, questioning, sequencing, long i-igh, y, ie
Stories of the week: Eyespying and Seeing
Science- 2.6-water cycle
Math- 2.5 basic addition and subtraction with strategies: and 2.21- missing addends and fact families
Monday:  Read for 20 minutes (AR book)and sign reading log.  Math sheet, study IN  notes for science, write your spelling words 3 times each
Tuesday:  Read for 20 minutes and sign reading log, math sheet, and study science In notebook, spelling: write a story with 8 of your spelling words of your words.

Wednesday:  Read for 20 minutes., study Science IN notebook, math sheet, study spelling words for pretest
Thursday:  Read for 20 minutes, Do math activity, study science notes, reread the story, Seeing, for reading test

Friday: Enjoy your weekend! Pumpkin Day rotations with (Mrs. Harris, Ms. Kimpel, Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Delong, and myself)-

Resource Colors for the week:

     Please check your child’s agenda each night and initial or sign by the color he/she earns for the day. Also, be sure to look through the red folder on Mondays to sign graded papers sheet and clean out. Please keep all social studies test and science test for nine weeks test in their social studies or science IN notebook
