Valentine’s snack will be during our regular snack time on Friday. I will provide a snack for the 100^th day of school.

Phonics Story: Treasure PIe (short e: ea, suffix: -er)

Unit 4 Story 3: Bruno the Baker (skill-realism and fantasy; strategy-visualizing)

Spelling: large, ready says, today, wash (HF) bread, breath, eraser, helper, spread, sweat, thread, weather

Vocabulary: batter, bowl, contents, directions, ingredients, kitchen, present, recipe

Social Studies: Ancient China, quiz on China

Math- Subtraction with regrouping and calendar skills

*** They are really working on their AR goals. I am so proud of them.

Homework

Monday:  read 20 mins and sign reading log, math sheet, study notes of Ancient China 

Tuesday:  read 20 mins and sign reading log, math sheet, and study notes of Ancient China

Wednesday:  Read for 20 minutes., study In notes in social studies notebook, math sheet, math test on subtraction with regrouping

Thursday:  Read for 20 minutes, reread Bruno the Baker

Friday: Test on Bruno the Baker, quiz on Ancient China, spelling test, quiz on calendar

Friday: Read a great book
