We will be going to the Virginia Living Museum on February 1st. If you are planning on chaperoning, please send in 18.oo for your cost. I think you are able to pay at the museum. Please bring a lunch for home if you signed up for home lunch.

Reading: SOLs:
2.12-Write stories, letters, and simple explanations
2.9-read and demonstrate comprehension of nonfiction text
Some friends are not completing their reading assignment on a nightly basis It will be logged the same as last year, and the expectation is that students read 30 minutes. Also, please have them log in two steps and place your signature beside it. On a daily basis, we should have 4 steps. The time may be broken into intervals. PLEASE SIGN READING LOGS NIGHTLY
Science: We will be working on erosion and weathering
Math: This week, we will be reviewing estimating, rounding, graphs, calendar, probability, and addition with regrouping. We will have our nine weeks test on Friday, January 26th.

Thursday:Have some quality family time; read for 30 mins and log in two steps; ST MATH
