It’s 2019 Happy New Year!!!!!!
Parents, I hope you had a very bless Christmas and will have a Happy New Year! I have enjoyed my time with my family in SC and with my Virginia family as well. My husband came right in time for the holidays! I hope all of my students are eager to come back to learn and share their holidays. I am energized and ready to take on 2019! I would also lie to say thank you so much for thinking about me for the holidays. I am enjoying the gifts!!! Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you. I hope I did not miss any of you with a thank you!
What are your goals for 2019?

Reading: SOLs:
 2.12-Write stories, letters, and simple explanations
2.9-read and demonstrate comprehension of nonfiction text
Some friends are not completing their reading assignment on a nightly basis It will be logged the same as last year, and the expectation is that students read 30 minutes. Also, please have them log in two steps and place your signature beside it. On a daily basis, we should have 4 steps. The time may be broken into intervals. PLEASE SIGN READING LOGS NIGHTLY
Science: Will update this week
Math: 2.15 The student will a) collect, organize, and represent data in pictographs and bar graphs; and b) read and interpret data represented in pictographs and bar graphs.
Homework
Do your know your power goal?
Monday :Enjoy bringing in 2019 with the family and friends
Tuesday: New Year’s DAy
Wednesday (January 2ndrd):  2 steps; ST MATH, 
Thursday: (January 3rd)Have some quality family time; read for 30 mins and log in two steps; 
Friday: ( January 4th)- Have a great weekend!!!
